Cucumber Water


In addition to being hydrating cucumber water has many health benefits, including weight loss, lowering blood pressure, helping bone health, improving skin health, and eliminating toxins from the body.  Drinking cucumber water daily can increase your body’s alkalinity. Keeping your body’s pH level at an optimal can help eliminate free radical cells. No need to pay big bucks for the Alkaline water at the grocery store!  Plus, cucumber water is a great substitute for sugar filled waters and energy drinks masquerading as healthy drinks.

Basic Ingredients:

  • 8 cups water
  • 2 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

For extra flavor:

  • oranges
  • lemons
  • limes
  • mint
  • basil
  • bee balm
  • lemongrass
  • thyme
  • ginger
  • turmeric
  • berries
  • pineapple
  1. Place cucumber and salt in large pitcher (and extra ingredients as you like)
  2. Add water and stir
  3. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours
  4. Good for 3 days in the refrigerator
